We visited this pub and received shopping treatment from the landlady who was rude and complaint about the noise We were happy as we had been to Salford rugby and had a great day We spent over 40.00 But she still complaint We called a couple taxi and went to another pub that was happier to receive happier customers x

Ventured out after being tucked away with my daughter during lockdown, what a shambles this place is, no organisation, absolutely rude staff which later found out was management!! Heard them swearing and making racist comments and mocking customers, totally upset at our first experience out , shall never go back ,

I live just a few minutes away from this pub and have visited it around 20 to 30 times in the past year. As someone who works on building sites, I am used to hearing industrial language, but when I go out with my wife, daughters, and granddaughter on weekends, I don't expect to hear someone at the bar using foul language loudly. The bartender and owner don't seem to mind, but I find it offensive. Perhaps we have different standards or maybe I am just sober while they are not. Today, at my wife's suggestion, we decided to leave the pub before I could even finish my first drink. We won't be returning, which is a shame because we live so close by. We work hard for our money, and if I wanted to hear obnoxious men using crude language, I would just stay at work and get paid for it. The pub has great potential in a nice area with hardworking customers who want to spend money. However, until the owner and bartender address the issue with unruly customers, the pub may not survive. It's truly unfortunate.

Tonight we visited this restaurant for a midweek meal. My husband enjoyed the gammon dish, which was beautifully presented and well-cooked, served with chips, mushrooms, peas, and tomatoes. I decided to opt for a healthier choice and ordered the haloumi and chickpea salad. However, I was disappointed to find that the salad was mostly comprised of salad leaves, a tomato, slices of cucumber, with only a small amount of haloumi and chickpeas. I felt that for the price of £9.25, this was not acceptable.

I held my 40th birthday celebrations here last Saturday evening with family and friends. Judith the landlady along with her fabulous staff were so lovely and honestly couldn't do enough for us. The food was wonderful, myself and all my guests had a fantastic evening. Guests commented throughout the night on how lovely the pub and the staff were along with the food. So thank you for making my birthday celebrations even more special. We'll be back and we highly recommended anyone to try here x
