The Sandbar Floating Restaurant

We cannot recommend The Sandbar Floating Restaurant enough! Exceptional service, with staff willing to go above and beyond. No task is too big! The food is absolutely incredible, best seafood we've had in a long time. Our children are still raving about this magical place. Big thank you to team at the Sandbar for making our evening there a memorable one.

Oh how I long to revisit The Sandbar. I am smitten by the place; great vegetarian food, wonderful service and really, really interesting conversations with some of the coolest people I've met in a long time. Hope to see Bonnie and crew soon, soon to check out food, music, up-river cocktails! Just like last time ; xxxx

Summptuously position on the graceful Boesmansrivier, the Floating Restaurant serves scrumptious food and has a well stocked bar. Under new management this spot has a very cool vibe: boat in, drive in, cycle in, walk in whichever way you get in, just make sure you go there!

How do I put into words what an incredible time we had this weekend on the boat!! On Friday night friends and family travelled from far and wide to celebrate Ference Toth's 50th Birthday bash with him and wow did everyone go big!!! Duck Chowles and Joe Van Der Linde performed especially for him and they rocked the crowd in a major way!! Bonny and her friendly and incredibly efficient staff provided a mouth watering chicken curry as well as a vegetarian option for the non meat eaters. It was certainly a party that will go down in the record books!! Joe and Duck performed again on Saturday night and they had everyone clapping and singing along and stomping their feet....another fantastic and succesful event. The prawns we had for dinner were amongst the best we have ever eaten!! Truly outstanding! Bonny....you can be so proud of yourself!! You went above and beyond to make sure that everything worked like a well oiled machine. It is an absolute pleasure to go to the Sandbar now. A great big WELL DONE to you!!!
