Very clean and pleasant outlook choice of seating from standard tables both round and oblong plus lounges for a relaxing chat and coffee. It,s pay at the counter and wait for delivery and the meals are quite big and well done but take care as the meals can be unexpectedly spicy and the mains expensive. The delis type meals I.e ciabatta , toasted but still plated and plenty of choices will more than fill the average diner. Can.t complain but next time well choose a more down to earth and possibly less expensive option for a lunch. At least it was open on a cold Monday .one other thing. Most nearby parking was only thirty minutes so expect a walk.
We visited the cafe two days in a row for breakfast. According to my husband the bacon, eggs and side of chorizo was the best he had ever tasted! My coffee on the first day wasn't the greatest but on the second day was much better. The venue is modern, clean and aesthetically pleasing. The staff were friendly and food in the display looked amazing
The pricing and value are a little high but the food quality very good, unfortunately not quite up to the mark on service, be patient. Not open for dinner which was a surprise for March mid-week.
Had breakfast here as it has changed hands and had a major makeover, so we had high hopes. Unfortunately we were disappointed. Service was shocking. Like, honestly, no one even spoke to us except when we went to the counter to order and a quick "there you go" when our food was bought out. Some context; it was not busy and multiple members of staff walked past (even made eye contact) and said nothing. However, there were some positives. The menu was great - lots of choices inc some vegan I think? And not just your regular eggs benedict, etc. It was on the more expensive side, mains starting in the low $20s and going up. Food itself was really good, tasty and good flavours and decent servings. Unfortunately I can't say the same for my juice. $8 juice that came in a water glass! While my partner got a smoothie in a mason jar that I think cost about the same, I got a water glass. Like 250ml for $8 juice of regular veggies and such (not wheatgrass or superfoods or anything). Renovations look nice, if a bit sparse for the huge space. So overall, food was great, but bought down by everything else.
Love love the new renovations! It was an eyesore before so props to the improvements made. Food has also stepped up quiet a bit, but it's too pricey!
