My partner, who is a large man using a walking stick, fell off his seat and onto a table of women behind him. Despite making a reservation, our seating was unsatisfactory. It seems like they do not want customers to linger and feel at ease. The stools we were seated on were only good for a quick in and out. The food we ordered was mediocre at best and did not taste good. Some of the staff provided good service, however.
Kinoko is the top sushi spot in Byron! The staff is incredibly friendly, making dining in or ordering takeaway a breeze. The laid-back atmosphere is great for families and friends, and the location is central for a leisurely stroll to the beach, shops, and more after your meal. I highly recommend this restaurant to locals and visitors alike for its high-quality, authentic cuisine that will please even the pickiest of eaters.
This restaurant in Byron Bay is not only one of the most budget-friendly options, but it also offers excellent food in terms of selection and quality. The staff, who come from all over the world, are some of the most attentive and knowledgeable restaurant employees I have encountered. Kinoko also provides a BYO wine option with a low corkage fee of $5 per bottle, in addition to their own wine selection. We enjoyed our experience at Kinoko so much that we dined there for all three nights of our stay in Byron Bay.
