I used to dine at J's Kitchen before it closed down. The food was delicious. I recently returned to the same restaurant twice since then and paid $13.50 each time. However, on both occasions I experienced intense stomach pain afterwards. The mushroom sauce lacked the same taste as J's, but was still similar. The fries were overly fried and had a yellow tint. Unfortunately, I won't be returning for a third time due to the stomach pain.
I don't usually live this kind of food, so I hardly have it. the mixed grilled dish ordered and I was quite impressing. for $18, they define a quantity (I shared) but I don't love the quality. the pork chops were very dry, the chicken was moderate, lamb was ok, steak poor taste. the was tasted like a big french. I wasn't too thick or too salty. I surprisingly enjoyed the garnels. they were perfectly crispy and came with a weed sauce.
I find this restaurant to be conveniently located near my home, although parking can be difficult to find. The portion sizes are very generous for the price of $11, and in all honesty, the flavors are quite similar to those of J's Steakhouse.
Cannot complain for $11. I had the tbone steak and my bf had the lamb. The lamb had a better flavour and I would try this it if you haven't already. Garlic bread is a miss. Also, get the mushroom sauce.
