Bau Truong - CABRAMATTA

Bau Truong is a Vietnamese restaurant that offers many Vietnamese dishes. The restaurant is extremely spacious and the staff members are friendly. It is a great place to dine casually, the service is fast and the food tastes good. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food.

Beef noodle is small, taste and flavor is just ok compair to other restrauant, it beef pho is poor. didn't try other dishes.................

Walked past Bau Truong tonight expecting it to be packed to the rafters, however, it was surprisingly empty. So I decided to try it. We ordered special pork chop, some soup noodles and jellyfish salad. The jelly fish salad was quite impressive. Came out looking fresh and vibrant and it was tasty. I was disappointed with the pork chip. It looked overcooked and the portion size was small.

Have been a customer of this restaurant for 3 years and the service I have received today was rubbish. Today they burnt my 1 and a half year old son's hand spilling sizzling beef! After apologizing once I get told not be seated on a small table ask for a bigger table. There was no remorse or empathy what so ever. My child screaming in pain, red faced and in shock. None of the staff or the manager assisted also the way this business is run when busy you have no choice of the table you are seated at.

Came here on a Sunday night around 6pm, there were several other diners inside. We were seated and given copies of the menu immediately, in a brisk manner so characteristic of south East Asian restaurants. The interior was clean, basic and no-frills with hard top white table cloths and plain walls. After a few minutes, we decided on what to order. We chose the seafood spring roll, pho tai, seafood clay pot, vermicelli with pork slices, and another noodle dish with grilled chicken on the side which I don't know the name of. The waitress had recommended the latter for my mother, who wanted a small serving of noodles. All the food was served to us within 10 minutes of ordering, and solid. It was neither amazing nor bad, just good home style food, decently priced. However, there are probably other restaurants around here that do what Bau Truong does, at a cheaper price. The service was friendly and efficient. Not a restaurant that had good enough food for me to come back to though, given the plethora of Vietnamese restaurants in this area. adventureswithagourmand.wordpress.com
