Authentic, small tapas bar with friendly waiters and very fair prices. The food was also very good and fast. Would you recommend it!
Go! Cool place with a small ground floor and a lower salon in the converted cistern below. Super cool look. As a non-Spanish speaker, the staff was polite and helpful. The Salmorejo (I _love_ tomatoes and that was completely new for me was really good. It is a traditional cold tomato soup. It seems like a purer, but finer than a bisque. It had a really tasteful tomato essence and was served with bits by Jamon (local cured ham and egg (I think). It was so good that I will do it for myself. The tomato salad was ok, the tomatoes were young and tasted a bit hot house, but to be fair tomatoes ARE from the season now. It could have been amazing with Roma tomatoes outdoors. The Solomillo (Tenderloins Tapas was just perfect. I really mean; perfect. The Chimichurri sauce with him was different from what I was used to in the USA and that's a good thing. It was the perfect compliment to meat, and if you like good beef, you need to try. Grandma's cake desert was also excellent. I had a glass of red wine and a copa of cream sherry with desert, and I found the overall bill completely reasonable for the quality of food and service. Try this!
Very nice tapas (especially the Argentine beef-elanada) in the “arched cellar” with a large “1906 reserve-especial” design beer
Very good Argentinian type of food and really nice and friendly staff. Will worth a visit if you're in Cadiz.
