Taberna El Baco - Cadiz

La comida es excelente, el servicio es muy atento, el lugar es pintoresco y hermoso, todo a precios razonables.

Localizado en una pequeña plaza muy tranquila, el menú no es muy extenso. Probé el solomillo al jugo (desafortunadamente la pata de pulpo se había agotado) y estaba delicioso. La camarera morena (no recuerdo su nombre) fue muy amable y atenta. Volvería a este restaurante si paso por Cádiz de nuevo.

La comida es deliciosa y el servicio es excelente. ¡Muy recomendable!

We came across this lovely little place by just wandering through the back streets of Cádiz. We have spent the last week travelling down through Spain and this is the best place we have eaten at so far. We had the mussels, potatoes, tomato salad and gambas. I am very fussy about my prawns but these were very good. Also make sure you ask for a local wine rather than Rioja.

We had visited the nearby Roman theater and wanted to eat some lunch around 2:00 pm. We stopped at Taberna el Baco and had a wonderful meal. Delicious vermut along with solmerijo, pork cheeks, tortilla de camerones (a fried crispy shrimp tortilla), and boquerones fritos (little fried fish). All were excellent. The young waiter was friendly and attentive. We had a great time in a pleasant street cafe setting.
