La Galletoire - Caen

My artist residency close-by give me a chance to try this place many times. This is a very popular place for locals, and you will have one of the very original galette in town. They're open on Sundays which is so rare in a city like Caen!

We had salads for lunch, which were delicious. However, the galettes and crêpes looked wonderful. There was inside and outside seating. The staff speaks English and are very friendly.

Charming restaurant with a large choice of gallettes and crepes, all very good; sometimes a bit too "buttery" for my taste, but overall good value for money.

Nice restaurant in the centre of Caen, close to L'Abbaye-aux-Hommes. Savour crepes (galettes) are good choice for light lunch, we add also the sweet ones, just to taste. Friendly staff and good service, not expensive. Recomended!

We were staying a few blocks away and this restaurant became our favorite spot in Caen. All our crepes were delicious, savory to sweet. Beautiful environment and friendly prompt service.
