Damn fine carne asada tacos. Comes with a plate of all the standard fixings. Good late night spot. Also good Al pastor. Skip the bathrooms though.
This spot became our go to in La Paz. It is juat 1 block from our hotel so after hanging out all night on the malecon we would stop here for one last bite to eat before bedtime. We LOVED the arrecha (aka skirt steak in the US) tacos and sopes. Did I mention the arrecha sopes??? I special ordered a quesadilla with beans and lettuce and dressed it with the extras they bring out when you sit down....cabbage, guac, salsa, pico. A word about their guacamole: This is more like an avocado puree. It's very smooth and creamy. I had never tried this before but I actually think I like it better this way! We put some on the slices of cucumber they bring out and it was a flavor and texture combibation that seriously rocked my world! I'm goingto make this for us ASAP when we get home. As for the price.. You just can't beat it! Get your fill, eat till you're full for a great price. We leave tomorrow morning but i hope we can go one last time!
Parada obligatoria si visitas la Paz. Muy rico, el menu tiene varios platillos. Los burros son enormes y los puedes pedir mixtos. Los tacos de adobada super ricos.
Great little off the beaten path taco stand/restaurant. Delicious and authentic Gringa Arracherra (fat trimmed off the asada) and Super Burro Mixta (mix of al pastor and asada). Can't beat the prices either!
