'Coz literally, I am the only customer, because the rest are going there just to drop off their laundry bags or pick them up. That giant wooden clothespin door handle will welcome you. And as you open the door, the smell of laundry soap will welcome you even more. They may not have a variety of drinks but they are really good. I had my Butternut Latte and it is so good.
In search of a quiet place to drink coffee and reflect this past Holy Week, I decided to check out The Washery Laundromat + Cafe along Kalye Industriya within Circulo Verde. Yes I went to a Laundromat. ANDRES TAKE OUT THE LAUNDRY AND HANG! Except in this case, "hang" means "hangout". A Cafe in a Laundromat er... is it the other way around? Taking out the laundry conjures up images of people dragging their feet to get washables done. The blessed convenience here is, taking out the dirty clothes can be done while you're scheduling a meeting as well in the same place. Give your washables and order your dark brew. Things need not be stressful. By the way, this is the Washery's 2nd branch but the first one with a cafe. We need more of these "cafes within a service" places. There's hot and cold drinks here plus satisfying bites for those with a sweet tooth. The "+ cafe" in the name isn't an afterthought since this looks and feels like a real coffee shop with small bites and up to 30 pax seating capacity. This most definitely is "3rd wave coffee" movement for the initiated. WiFi seems up to speed as well. Since this is still a developing block, there are few joints open in the complex. That's a good thing if you want less human traffic and more thinking spaces :)
