Mother India - Cairns

Nice eating n beautiful ambiente must try panneer lababdar n biryani, although restaurant is nt crowded, but fud is gud his very close to spicy biss u cn try for a change

I had a nice meal here in the evening after a walk around cairns. the chief/owner was very friendly and friendly. I had a glass of wine and a curry. I love Indian food and go out or get away a lot. that was up there with the best I had. I recommend this restaurant!

Great affordable Indian food. Tried the rest but David cooks up a taste spice Indian treat. Never disappointed.

After craving an Indian and googling the best Indian's in cairns, Mother India came up and it did not disappoint. A fantastic meal with very friendly staff, the food was much more authentic than the Indian's we have in the U.K. The owner even came out and chatted to us, giving us an insight into how the food was cooked. A great experience with a good variety of food and drink choice, we will definitely be coming back!

I would definitely recommend Mother India to people. The food is great and we love going there. It is well priced, there is a variety of choice for both food and drinks and it is always a good feed.The only downside is the service (Sometimes). There is normally a young girl working who is great and really nice.However there is an older lady who pretends to be courteous and helpful whilst accomplishing very little.Also we there serving times say they finish at 10pm on both Google and there website however we have got there at 9:05pm after the movies for food and the doors were shut and all the lights were off.From this I would say no matter the time your going I would book from now on - Maybe they should change there serving time to 9 if they want to close earlier on an evening.These are the only reasons why I didn't give it 5/5Either way, Food is great, Well priced, Service can be great. Definitely recommend.
