Red Rooster Roadhouse - Cairo

I enjoy sitting in a booth here. The prime rib was incredibly tender and flavorful, practically melting in my mouth. I really wish they offered a King Cut, around 16-18 ounces, because that would make me come back more often. The margherita flight was absolutely delightful. The service was excellent, the food was fresh, and the place was immaculate—spotless like a saloon. Overall, I would rate the food a perfect 5/5.

I recently had a very disappointing meal. The waitress seemed distracted and I had to get up to find her just to check on the sauce we ordered for the blooming onion, and again to request the check. The boneless wings were extremely tough, like chewing on rubber, and my girlfriend felt her meal was below average. Overall, I would rate the food a 1 out of 5.

The food was awesome, the beer was spot on, and the entire staff was completely wonderful!

We've dined here multiple times. Depends on what you order to qualify as a good meal or not. Our prior visit, i ordered the chicken parmesan dinner and the chicken tasted undercooked and rubbery, while the spaghetti was overcooked and mushy. Went on a limb with this, but should have stuck with a burger. Teriyaki wings were good.This most recent time, stuck with a burger. It was good, but they charged me a $1.00 for a 2 Oz cup of mayonnaise. That's pretty ridiculous. I doubt they would have charged if I asked for mayonnaise ON the burger. That charge really is irritating. I should have asked for a credit because I ordered my burger without cheese.Extremely expensive place.For two burgers, 2 orders of wings, order of mozzarella wedges and chicken alla vodka, plus sodas (no salads, no desserts), before tip was $110. That's pretty extreme for around here. Going to start dining here less unless the pricing becomes more reasonable and they stop charging for mayonnaise.

I held my Customer Appreciation Dinner at Roosters last night. I met with the owner, Taryn the week before to plan the menu. She was so open to any and all ideas I had and we were both excited with what we came up with.The dinner was a huge success. Roosters is very accommodating. The food was fantastic. Our dedicated server, Dana was pleasant professional and quick on her feet!We were given a large room adjacent to the bar and there was plenty of room for seating and mingling.I highly recomment Roosters for all your catered events or just for a nice dinner out.I'm already planning next year's event at Roosters! Thank you all!
