Entrapues is right off the Autopista Norte which is convenient. The food is Colombian and very overpriced for what it is. One good thing is they are open every day from Breakfast onward. On weekends the queue of cars can stretch back for at least...45 minutes of waiting. Who knows why people sit in traffic jams to go to this place? Service is slow, so make sure you get your order in full at the same time as your drinks because that will probably be the last time you see the waiter!. Drive another 8 miles to Briceño and the whole family can eat the same kind of for the price of 2 meals in Entrapues.
Used to a very comfortable typical Colombian Food restaurant to share with family and friends some time ago, well, went there first weekend of 2017, and found it has turned into a very pricey place, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL, and definitely NOT RECOMMENDED anymore...!
I was there with some collegues, and we all went for the Bandeja Paisa, in my case was the mini, because the normal one is too much for me. Nice staff, good and friendly.
!!! You cant beat paisa food at any time of the day and this restaurant is probably the best north of Bogota. My personal favourite is breakfast/brunch especially if you have partied the night before, nothing better than a “caldo Costilla” to take away that...morning after feeling. The restaurant and grill area is totally open and feel free to wander around watching the chefs and cooks at work, the staff are incredible and nothing is too much, around lunch time on the weekends the resident Vallenato orchestra strikes up just to add to the atmosphere. Well worth a visit or a stop if you are travelling north out of Bogota!!!
