Coleman's Original Calabash

Its not very good, plates are sloppy and the food is greasy.

The fire must have done something. Drove 250 miles October 2015 and ordered my fried oysters. They were not the same, greasy. Either they lost there seasoned pots and pans or they lost there cook. Drove down again in December and they were closed having a private party. Drove down again October 22, 2016 and they were the only ones closed for the season (winter) can you believe that? I will not try again. Too many other great places in Calabash NC. Colemans no more!!

Interesting experience. They came out with Hush Puppies and honey butter vs. rolls, which I thought was cool. They were not very good . My wife asked for honey and the waitress looked at her like she was from mars. Finally, after 10 minutes she brought out a squeeze bottle of honey. By then they were cold. The food wasn't that bad, just dripped in oil. The shrimp were fresh, but dripping in oil. It is a nice setting, we sat outside. There are just so many better places to eat in Calabash. We won't go back.

Great sea food and service!! Also we go there because the whole family loves it!! I'm allergic to seafood so I get chicken tenders cause they have one fryer that no seafood goes in just hush puppies and fries.

Food was okay. Waitress didn't know which items on the menu they were out of, so she assumed we would want fries.
