Babylonia - CALASCIBETTA

This is the real thing--a family owned restaurant that is VERY popular with the locals. We had patronized the restaurant last year, and this year we were treated like returning family. This is NOT a tourist hang-out, maybe because English IS a foreign language. The food is simply wonderful--very fresh and simple. Every night we were given little extras to sample, and they were ALL delicious. We were also given dessert! We hardly every eat it, but we couldn't resist. Babylonia isn't fancy, but it's quite comfortable. We loved sitting in the covered patio area. On football nights you can watch the game on a BIG screen, nursing a couple of limoncellos after dinner.
