I would never return to this restaurant. The management speaks to the young staff disrespectfully. There is no praise or acknowledgment of their hard work. The young staff outshines the management. I have also heard that they do not pay their staff their full wages for the hours they have worked. They ignore emails from staff who are trying to collect the money they have earned. It is disappointing to see a company treat their young employees in such a way.

Based on other reviews from December, it seems that Berties Restaurant is willing to ask customers to leave if their taxi is late. When I spoke to Paul, the manager, he mentioned that their priority is ensuring everyone is safe and out of the building. This is something to consider when planning your Christmas outing in 2023.

Venue really nice. Very festive. Cannot say same about the food. I think Turkey roast was from Iceland.Wrapped in plastic not fantastic. Roast potatoes tasted like they were at least four days old. Bland and cold

We attended a Christmas party night on the 10/12/22 Great atmosphere with fantastic music The food was of good quality and was served very quickly Plenty of veg and roast potatoes) All the staff were friendly which helped to make it a good night Would definitely recommend

Poor beer and vodka quality sky high prices Lovely setting but really not expect to pay high prices and hats fine but I would also expect high quality as well won’t be going back in a hurry
