Cafe Revive Shelf Halifax - Calderdale

I ordered three big breakfasts and a sandwich to go, and I was very disappointed. The breakfasts were all incorrect and overly greasy, and there was no coffee included. It was a terrible experience.

My husband and I have visited this restaurant many times and have never been let down. The menu offers a wide variety of options, and the specials board is great for those looking for something different. During our last visit, I ordered the chicken curry which was delicious, and my husband had the sausages in Yorkshire pudding. The portions were generous and we left feeling satisfied.

The breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented, served piping hot. I appreciate that the food is not lukewarm as I dislike that. I ordered a small breakfast while my husband had the All Day breakfast with added black pudding. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the mushrooms were not slimy like in other places I've visited. It's clear that the food is good since a kind older gentleman in the corner mentioned he has been coming here for years. We will definitely be returning.

I have never been in this cafe until today and I can say that I will be returning, great portions great prices and the young girls customer service skills are above and beyond. Marvellous little cafe!

I have been visiting this cafe for almost ten years so that speaks volumes in itself. There appears to have been several owners but recently it does not have the friendly atmosphere that it once had. I have eaten there in the past week and although the breakfast plate is still very good it is no longer served with a pot of tea but only in a mug .The butter has also disappeared and the toast now arrived already spread with butter....or is it butter ? I believe that it would be better to increase the price slightly rather than to cut corners.....The smiles are also a little bit thin on the ground now !
