Coffee Cali - Calderdale

We decided to visit this particular coffee shop among the options in town based on positive reviews. We were able to secure a nice table by the window downstairs. The menu offered a great variety of drinks, food, and cakes. I enjoyed a delicious latte, while my wife, who doesn't drink coffee, was able to order a steamed milk with syrup without any hesitation from the server. We also indulged in a Bakewell slice and a piece of salted caramel coffee cake, both of which were impressive in taste and freshness. The cafe also had additional seating upstairs and restroom facilities. Overall, we would highly recommend this place.

This restaurant is absolutely terrible. The staff is incredibly rude, the rudest I have ever encountered. I have visited about 3-5 times now and each time, the staff has been rude and dismissive. The food is delicious, but the service really ruins the experience. I would suggest either replacing the staff or providing them with training on how to be more friendly and accommodating.

While waiting to order my coffee at the counter, I witnessed a woman in front of me ordering food for her family. She was asking simple questions about the menu and explaining that her son was a picky eater. The young lady working behind the counter was very rude to this woman, treating her as if she was being difficult. The staff member even made faces and rolled her eyes at the woman and myself. After the woman placed her order, the staff member and her colleague began talking negatively about the woman in front of other customers. I was truly disgusted by the lack of professionalism displayed. If this is the type of customer service provided, I highly suggest additional training for the staff.

My wife, daughter and I visited Coffee Cali a few days ago for morning coffee and cake before going for a walk at Hardcastle Crags. The staff were friendly and helpful and our order was provided very quickly. We enjoyed our generous coffees and cakes. The cafe was clean, modern and comfortable. We would definitely return if in Hebden Bridge in future. Thank you.

Do yourself a favour: stay home and open a cheap can of something. That's all they do. Went for lunch with friends. Had a jacket spud with chilli. Definitely tinned and poor quality. The potato itself was so overcooked the skin was like thick leather rather than being nice and crispy. Friends had toasties overpriced and average. Unfriendly staff. So many great places in Hebden Bridge can't think why anyone would bother with this one.
