Los Beto's Mexican Food - Caldwell

We ordered three items from the menu, and unfortunately, the carne asada fries were soggy and cold. The burrito lacked flavor, and we were not given our tacos, forcing us to go back through the drive-thru to retrieve them. The salsa was excessively spicy without any real flavor, as if it was designed solely to burn your mouth rather than enhance your meal. Overall, I was very disappointed with this location.

It seems that the quality of food at this location has significantly declined. While it was never exceptional, it was somewhat decent in the past. I visited today and ordered the fajita mix plate, but the shrimp looked like it had been sitting out for days and felt rubbery. The tomatoes and bell peppers were charred and tasted sour, so I doubt they were fresh at all. I managed to eat some of the rice and beans, but the rest of the meal was inedible! Paying $14 for a plate of expired food? No way! We definitely won't be returning.

The experience was a bit frustrating when I was placing my order. After I mentioned an item I wanted, the server repeatedly asked me to move forward, even though I was still trying to finish my order. It felt a bit rude. However, I still give it 5 stars because my order was correct and delicious!

It cost $30 for the fajitas and the nachos. That's all we got. No sodas. And it was HORRIBLE! I don't know WHY we keep trying this place. This is pretty consistent for every time we've ever gone. The fajitas were SO OLD tasting and overcooked as always. You could barely chew the meat and shrimp. It was also SUPER salty. The nachos were old tasting and soggy as if they weresitting in the counter for hours before we even ordered them. SO disappointing! Don't waste your money!

The food is excellent and portions are large. Service is fast and friendly with no mistakes. It's my usual go-to while working in the area. The Machaca Breakfast Burrito is on point with some green sauce. So is the shredded beef burrito. You won't behungry after. I just wish I could eat inside, but it's drive-thru only.
