Railtown Brewing Company - Caledonia

A really fantastic brewery south of Grand Rapids.Came for dinner with a friend, had a great time. Good service, great food, fantastic beers.Our server was really good, kept checking in on us, was helpful with the beers and food and was over all a nice guy. The atmosphere is awesome. They have indoor and outdoor seating. A spacious downstairs and nice loft upstairs with another bar.We had the street corn dip, a salad and a sandwich, all of which were perfect.The beers were the real stars of the show. We had a sour, a blonde ale, an IPA, a rye ale, and a stout so we could get a range of their beers. All of them were great. The stand ours were the rye and the sour. We each bought a 6pack of these two to take with us.Can't say enough good things. This might be my new favorite Grand Rapids brewery and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it.

The atmosphere was a little loud for me, but it was a Saturday night when I went. I wish they'd had more non-beer alcohol options. I realize they are a brewery, I'm just not a beer person and would have preferred another cider, wine, or cocktail option. The people at my party who did get beer seemed to enjoy it. The food was good, the parmesan truffle fries were really good. I also got the nachos which were okay, also a bit different from how I usually prefer nachos. My boyfriend got the death by cheese burger and thought it was very good. Overall, it was good, not sure if I'll go back or not.

Great place! The vibe is very cool and relaxed, especially with the doors to the patio open. My husband had the beer cheese Philly cheesecake and said it was a 9.5 meal. Our server was nice and went above and beyond to help with a question. Delicious beers with lots of options. Definitely worth visiting!Food: 5/5

Super impressed with Railtown. We were a challenging party (large group who didn't know how many people we'd ultimately have and all needing separate checks. The service was outstanding, and the beers were tasty. I especially enjoyed the blueberry gose.Service: 5/5

Great place for a beverage and a snack or a meal. Indoor outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Try the Good Mooed if you like dark stout beers.
