Feedback gevenThe pizza we ordered was not very good. We ordered the Manhattan Bridge. The meat on the pizza just didn't taste very good, it had a really strange taste. I don't know what it was, the ham or the salami, but it tasted as if it were. Also the meatballs were oversalted to a point, it was hard to take. The pizza also needed more cheese. I was all over the world and had pizzas in different restaurants. This pizza was the worst thing I ordered, almost unusable. We had the 18 inches for $37, which is also quite expensive for what we get. I'm sorry, but I can't recommend this restaurant.
Service was good, and even my super picky kids found a pizza with potatoes on it they loved!
The food at this restaurant was both delicious and fresh, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We will definitely be returning to eat here again. The server was very friendly and frequently checked in to ensure that we had everything we needed.
I made a reservation for Brooklyn Pizzeria and Taps for New Year's Eve at 7:15 pm using the Open Table app and received an email confirmation of my reservation. On the arrival of our party of six, we were told by the Manager that we could not possibly have a reservation as the last seating for dinner that night was 7:00 pm. She indicated that we should have known this as there was a paper notice posted on the door (but this was not useful information given that we had never visited this establishment before and therefore could not have seen the notice prior to our actual arrival). We were told we should leave and find somewhere else to go as the kitchen was closed this said despite the fact that people were picking up pizza for takeout at that very moment and the few occupied tables were still being served food/beverages. She made it very clear that the misunderstanding was ours and if anyone was in the wrong, it was us. I told her that I had a received an email confirmation of my reservation and attempted to show it to her on my phone, but she would not look at it. She walked away from us saying I must have used Open Table to book my reservation and that the confirmation was just an automatic function of the app and that they have no control or access to the app. There was no attempt made to soften what was an unhappy situation. We made a reservation in the first place to avoid the scenario where we would arrive at a restaurant and be told we could not be seated (although this actually went beyond that, as we were told to leave and find ourselves another restaurant). I would ask that Opentable remove this establishment from their list of bookable restaurants.
