Al's Pizza - Calgary

We went to this restaurant yesterday and loved it. We ordered the meat pizza and the lasagna with garlic bread and soup. So yummy. The service is amazing. Our server was very friendly.

Al's i is the best!!! Also they have excellent gluten free pizza.

We ate here at the first time for Sunday dinner. It was 1/2 price pizza! We ordered fries and a meat pizza. It was so delicious! The pizza had a thick, satisfying crust and a good amount of toppings and cheese. The fries were fresh, crispy, and delicious. I was also impressed with their local beers on tap (Big Rock . The server went out of her way to ensure that we were comfortable. She was patient with our two small children, and brought us extra colouring pages and accomodated our request to move to a booth. The restaurant was clean and quiet (we especially appreciated that the volume was off on the soccer game on TV, with closed captioning , and all the staff seemed friendly and competent. The price was great (especially with 1/2 price pizza! , and our meal was a good value. We will definitely be coming back often for dine-in and take-out!

Al's Pizza Steakhouse is my top pick for dining in the city. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is welcoming. I highly recommend trying the vegetarian or the baked lasagna dishes, as well as the vegetarian pizza. Don't forget to complement your meal with a Caesar salad. It's absolutely fantastic.
