Avatara Pizza - Calgary

We were thrilled to dine at Zöliakie, a restaurant that is 100% gluten-free! Despite our initial excitement, our overall experience was quite disappointing. The chicken fingers were decent, but the cheese pizza dough was only okay. The mac and cheese was not good at all, so we were unable to eat it. On a positive note, the strawberry champagne cheesecake was delicious.

I absolutely adore Avatara Pizza! I have been a loyal customer for the past 4 years and the service is always incredibly friendly. The pizza is absolutely delicious. Even though I live in the city, whenever I am in the area or return, I make sure to stop by Avatara for some pizza. I have dietary restrictions which can make dining out difficult, but Avatara's menu is so accommodating and courteous. I give them a perfect 10/10 and wish they had a location in my hometown. My favorite pizza is the Maui with banana peppers and vegan cheese. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed! ❤️

We have ordered from avatara since we found out that our children are celiac a few years ago. no cross-contamination and loads of different taste directions. also bands are excellent and also the chicken strips.

Wish we had this restaurant option in Denver!!! Went for lunch with my wife and sister-in-law, that both require gluten-free. I had the full 12-inch Maui and they shared some of that and a half Aristotle. Nice thin-cust pizza and good toppings. You can sit...at one of five tables or up at the counter. Pizza oven in the open area, so kinda a rustic feel with the flame in the back, and easy to interactive with the chef. We found service prompt and friendly. Will defintely return next trip!

The person staffing the counter was rude. I asked if my 8 year old son could use their restroom and rather than politely declining or telling us politely their washrooms were only for Customers, the person at the counter raised his voice and jabbed his...finger at us while loudly telling us THEY HAVE A BATHROOM NEXT DOOR. GO ASK THEM! Congratulations. Your rude behaviour ensured that nobody from my family will EVER enter your establishment and I will tell everyone I know that if they want lousy customer service, this is the place to go because you have it nailed! For your edification, we asked if we could use YOUR restroom because the bathroom at Leavitt 's was occupied and our 8 year old couldn 't wait but thanks for the rude and intolerant response just the same.
