Feedback gevenMy wife and I decided to have lunch here today after seeing an advertisement on Facebook. Since she’s originally from New Brunswick, we thought it was important to try some east coast cuisine. She had always struggled to find a donair or garlic fingers in Calgary that matched what she remembered from home... until today! We both ordered donairs with added mozzarella cheese and garlic fingers with bacon. They were absolutely fantastic! The restaurant was quite busy since we arrived during lunchtime, so we opted for takeout. The waitress was very friendly, and the wait was just about 15 minutes. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and definitely plan to return to try more items from the menu.
Amazing food staff was very friendly with our to go order brothers pepperoni pizza was great crust has a perfect crisp will definitely recommend this place to any of my family and friends !
Visited B&G yesterday for the first time over lunch and really enjoyed it. The waitress was super helpful and the food was great. We tried the Brothers Pepperoni and my first ever Halifax Donair. Everything was fantastic and I will be back to try some more menu options. I would recommend giving them a try.
This is an incredible spot to unwind and enjoy a great atmosphere, and the food is outstanding. The donair is the best I’ve had in the city, and it pairs perfectly with the B&G salad for a delightful experience. I’m looking forward to trying the fish and chips on my next visit, as I’ve heard excellent things about it. Kudos for introducing this concept here—I highly recommend checking it out!
Are you from the East Coast? You absolutely have to eat here. Not from the East Coast? You should still definitely give it a try. We sampled a variety of dishes tonight, including garlic fingers and their delicious DONAIR sauce. We enjoyed prawns, scallops, and yes, clams—not the strips, but the real thing! We also had chips, fries, donairs, authentic Caesar salads with pepperoni, and blueberry grunt donuts. Everyone at our table agreed that the donair meat was the best we’ve had in six years—perfectly cut and crispy, truly amazing. It was served on proper bread with the right sauce. It may sound like I’m being paid to say this, but honestly, I'm just thrilled to pay for the best East Coast cuisine I’ve had on the West that my family has enjoyed in years. I can’t wait to go back and try the lobster rolls and donair pizza. Seriously, eat here. You won’t regret it! And by the way, the owners and staff are incredibly friendly, giving off a genuine East Coast vibe, and the background music is great too.
