Boston Pizza - Calgary

On October 31, 2017, for Halloween, after moving from Lethbridge to Calgary, my friend and I had our first meal at Boston Pizza. There are several Boston Pizza locations in Calgary, and we chose the one on 130th Avenue Southeast. It is conveniently located near Walmart, Lowe's, Superstore, Home Depot, and other stores, making it easy to find and park. It was our first time at this particular restaurant, and when we arrived at 8:00 pm, it was very busy and full. After a short wait, a friendly waitress seated us at a table in the dining area and brought us menus and drinks. I had hot water with lemon, while my friend had an $8 draft beer. For appetizers, we ordered the pizzabrot, which was quickly served and delicious. As for our main dishes, I had the Tuesday pasta special Jambalaya Fettuccine with garlic bread, and my friend had the Big Dipper Cactus Cut Potatoes. Both dishes were well-cooked and tasty. Despite enjoying our meal, we found the prices to be quite expensive, costing us around $80 for the entire dinner.

We visited this restaurant after a night out. Boston Pizzas are consistent in their offering of decent meals and a good sports-watching atmosphere. However, this particular location didn't stand out in any way. The service was excellent and our food was quickly served, even with a large group. Although nothing extraordinary, it is still a nice spot to gather with friends and enjoy a good meal.

My spouse and I were in the neighborhood and decided to have a quick Sunday lunch here. Despite the recently lifted covid restrictions, the restaurant was surprisingly busy. We received good service from our server, Sarah. The food was delicious. We enjoyed sharing a plate of Thai Bites and Potato Crisps, both of which had a nice spicy flavor to them.

Tried several pizza restaurants in our neighborhood and so far this has been the best one we tried. Delivery was on time and a pleasant delivery person. I will order here again!
