Browns Socialhouse - Calgary

Looking for somewhere quick, enjoyable, simple to eat on or around 17th ave? That's what we wanted and decided on pub food at Browns.

It was my first time into Browns Socialhouse this afternoon and I am blown away.

Generally very low quality of food and drinksI asked for soup and specifically asked if it was made in house and was informed it was bought in.

Browns in the Britannia building on Elbow is a perfect spot for lunch/dinner - I've been there a handful of times and am always impressed. They have a great selection and the staff are attentive and well trained.

I visited Browns Socialhouse, for the first time, on a Saturday afternoon Mother-Daughter date day. Both of us were very impressed. The food was excellent, our server was very attentive, and the ambiance was just what we were looking for. When our server found out it was our first visit he even took care of the appetizer, which was a very nice surprise. We will definitely be going back often.
