The service was excellent and the staff was friendly. The food was delicious, especially the new addition to the menu, the poké bowl that I tried.
The restaurant was not busy when we arrived, which was our initial observation. We were seated at noon, but did not receive our food until 12:45. The service was slow, however, our server was very friendly. I don't think I will come back for lunch on a weekday. If they want to attract more customers for lunch, they need to improve the speed of service and maybe introduce lunch specials.
At first i didn't know that browns is a bar. The ambiance is good but the food is just so so for me price wise. a bit expensive with the serving and the taste. They also have a limited list of drinks and appetizers. There...are times that service crew are not that attentive.
The waitress was excellent. She was friendly and provided good service. I wish I knew her name but she had one sleeve of tattoos and I remember a big sunflower up by her shoulder. The food was really great! It was kind of expensive though...for what you got. My crunchy salad with grilled tuna was good but it was not on the large side although it was about the perfect portion for me. I think it was $18.95. That seemed ok to me. The one negative thing though is the avocado toast was $10.95 for only 2 small pieces. My aunt swore she got 4 pieces last time she was there. Overall though, I would go back.
Took my mom here for brunch on Sunday. I like the atmosphere. There were only 2 tables including ours, but waitresses didn’t seem to be around much in the restaurant area. Got the Avocado Toast with Poached Eggs. Would have loved it if both eggs...were poached but only one had yoke and the other was this small egg white ball. I think it must’ve both came from one egg although the item on the menu says poached eggs with an “s”. Was pretty disappointed because I pretty much paid $14 for one egg on a piece of toast. I guess if there were 2 poached eggs like I had assumed, then this dish would’ve been alright and maybe I wouldn’t be writing this. Just think it’s overpriced for what you get.
