He did his best and can't fault him for that, however 4 of 6 orders were wrong and he even wrote them down!Anyway, the food was mediocre at best.
This restaurant is inside one of Calgary's major shopping malls. It is clean and has a somewhat enclosed outdoor patio. On this day their service was very poor. We started with a cocktail and perused the menu. We had to wave to someone in order to get our server to come to the table to take our order. During the time when our food was being prepared we ordered another drink. About 10 to 15 minutes later we still had not gotten our drink. Our food arrived so we cancelled our drink order. The waitress was unapologetic and didn't seem to understand or care about the problem. In all, four meals were served. Three of the meals were good but we feel they are overpriced. I had the Fresh Mex Bowl with strips of steak. It was tasty but the steak was very tough to cut and eat. In my opinion the steak was cut with the grain instead of against the grain. This is what made it so tough. We would be very reluctant to go back to this restaurant.
My wife and I dropped in for dinner yesterday. Hockey playoffs were featured on their TV sets, so a bit noisy however interesting. Our waiter was keen, giving us attentive service. My wife had the salmon and I had a chicken quesadilla. Mine was ok however her salmon was dry and finished with a coating. The two dinners with two coffees cost just over $50 including GST and tip. Pretty pricy for what we got.
The service here sucks, they make excuses abut how busy it got and couldn't handle not only my order but several others. I observed multiple tables being served at different times. our order took 40 minutes to arrive
We hadn't been to a Chili's in a long time because it seemed like everything on the menu was deep fried. My wife and I had heard there was a new and better menu so we stopped by for a late (for us) supper at around 7:45. The service was pretty good, I wish I could say the same for the food. My wife had the chicken crispers which were ok but over salty. I'm a fan of a nice quesadilla, it looked good but someone had heavily salted the outside of the tortilla! Who does that??? I really should have sent it back or complained but, frankly, I was too tired to deal with it. I ate what I could and vowed to never return.
