Filos Restaurant - Calgary

We have eaten here a number of times now. Best wedge fries I have ever tasted. Nice and crispy! A particular favorite is the Sticky Toffee Pudding Cake (love saying it fast)!

Recently remodelled from a VLT bar this is now a great family or couples restaurant and much nicer than you'd expect for a strip mall community restaurant. Filo's is becoming a regular when we don't feel like cooking. The menu is extensive, nice selection of craft beers, modest wine list, but all very reasonably priced. We've been here a few times now and are always impressed so keep coming back. Lots of big TVs for sports but the volume is turned down so it doesn't interfere with your dinner conversation. And service has always been great. Highly recommended.

There is no better pizza in the world than Filo's. Never had a bad pizza from this place. I wish it had better beer on tap, but the service is spectacular and the restaurant is quite nice with the new reno.

Stopped for a quick late lunch Feb 2/16. Food and service very good. Portions bigger than necessary.

While this restaurant had been in a neighborhood close to where we live, we had yet to try it. They use to be in an indoor mall, but the mall was recently renovated, as was the restaurant. Wow, what a selection of menu items. There is almost anything you could want. The staff is friendly, the service fast and the food is so delicious. We highly recommend it.
