Nice to have a coffee. eating and drinks are great, but the furniture is not the best. the chairs in the upper floor must be replaced and it is overcrowded below. the personal is great.
Good coffee and good food. it is a very lively place, a lot of seating, as they can also walk in 2nd floor. it probably depends on the time I day. have gone a few different paints, and around 10 o'clock seems the busiest
Stopped by again recently, as I needed a quick lunch and a coffee. The slightly deconstructed chicken pot pie was actually very good: lots of veggies and chicken in the bottom, and the pie was crispy and had a nice herbal flavour. The coffee was...also very good. But the place is certainly worn down, with the furniture looking quite distressed, but not in shabby chic way, just shabby... Even the cutlery looks as if it 's through the mill a thousand times... This could be a spectacular coffee house, with a stunning location and oodles of decor potential, but sadly the owner is not investing in these customer friendly opportunities...
It was good see they do an open mic on Thursdays here, as this cafe is large and has the atmosphere for that. Although my breakfast sandwich was okay, my Americano was quite delicious. Staff and service were okay, nothing wrong with it, nothing special,...no passion, that would say to me Come back! The best part about this place is it 's amazing location, right next to the Glenmore Reservoir, so that in every season, it is uplifting just to be in the area. This could be an outstanding place if you could sense some passion, and they worked a bit on the food.
