Hawkwood Palace Restaurant - Calgary

We went in person for a small family dinner for 5 people. The food was hot, expertly prepared, and each dish was so tasty. I am still thinking about their chicken dumplings and the prawns in black bean sauce. Both were outstanding. We ordered 4 dishes and the cost was under $80 including the tip and we left with extra. We hadn't been for a long time but we will definitely be going back.

We ordered a meal for delivery with 5 very standard dishes. We ordered before 5 pm, hoping to beat the rush, and were told it would take approximately an hour to receive the food. After 2 hours and 9 unanswered phone calls, we were still waiting and had to start the process all over again with another restaurant. Very very disappointed in the extremely poor customer service. Things happening going wrong are understandable, but it is absolutely unacceptable to not communicate with the customer.

Just ordered delivery from this was place and was very pleasantly surprised!!Salt and pepper squid was light and tender, beef with stir-fried mixed vegetables was so flavorful. Palace-Style chicken was sweet, spicy and crunchy. Mu Shu pork was wonderful! Don’t forget to order extra pancakes!Ordered over the phone, and the lady who took my order was very friendly and super fast and efficient!Food arrived 10 minutes earlier than promised, and was piping hot.Value is some of the best in Calgary. The same order from our usual place would be at least $20-$30 more!We are definitely going to be regular customers here.

No fortune cookies with delivery order, disappointing! Spent nearly $200. Shrink-flation....portions are smaller. Food ok. Not likely to order again from Hawkwood Palace.
