You know when the place is filled with Asian demographic it must be good and it is! Our favs are the salt pepper squid and special fried rice. The decor is super old and gawdy, the service is dry and not friendly at...all, lol! But we love it!
We went to Ho Won after quite a hiatus. The parking downtown is a turn off for us but, after talking to a co worker about his visit there, we decided it was time to give it a go again. We were not disappointed, maybe pleased,...that the food did not taste as salty as had been on other occasions in the past.We have a staple of four or five dishes that we usually order and get more if we have help eating all the food. The portions are always sizeable and the prices pretty fair. The food arrives quickly and staff is pretty friendly. The only downfall, for some, may be the amount of stairs that you must ascend that being said, you see a lot of elderly folks at Ho Won. That goes to say that Ho Won is not wheel chair accessible.
Classic Chinatown restaurantThis place will win you over not by it's looks but by the flavours in your mouth.
Food was either too bland or too salty. Service was horrible because of not enough staff. Staff was rude and pushy. Overall bad experience. Will not be back.
