Husky House Restaurants - Calgary

We stopped in for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. The restaurant was not busy at all, but, the service was very slow. I had a BLT sandwich which was nothing to write home about. To top off our visit our server gave me the wrong bill. I will return, but, only for breakfast.

My wife and I stopped in for a hearty breakfast before catching a flight. We both had the breakfast special which was the standard eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast. The portions were plentiful and the food was good. My only complaint is that the coffee was really good, but getting refills was a challenge as our waitress was a bit tardy. We will return on our next visit to Cowtown.

Finally a new face at husky Barlow in Calgary. For 3yrs of waiting for girls to stop gossip long enough to get a second coffee problem solved. A new lady was hired there I believe her name is Jennifer. She works evenings. A very bubbly Happy girl. Great to see a new girl who clearly loves her job. Way to go Husky.

Breakfast here is traditionally very good-no matter what time you order it. I drive truck for a living and stay here when in Calgary. The staff are friendly and the food is good and hot

Had a wonderful breakfast at the Husky House Restaurant at Barlow and 32nd Ave. Had the Hamburger steak and eggs for $10.99. So big, I couldn't eat it all! Hubby was happy with his basic sausages and eggs breakfast special for $7.99. Will go back here for breakfast again and again! Service was friendly and prompt.
