Ikusa Izakaya - Calgary

Food was great. little disappointed in portion of wasabi and soysauce even when i phoned in and asked for extra and barely received enough for 2 people.. other than that, we were really pleased with the food. The special Creamy Scallop Roll was delicious and will definitely get it again.

Extremely disappointed with this, portions are so incredibly small! The lobster miso had a lobster tail cut in half, then cut in half again! Giving a thrilling single bite of lobster. The broccolini too is a small portion. Not worth the price at all, to top it off the items were packaged in a literal garbage bag.... overall the price and time it takes to arrive is ridiculous.

Ive ate at Ikusa many, many times and have ordered a few times with same quality that is always great and delicious. Sadly, the Kuro ramen this time was incredibly disappointing. There was no flavour in the broth or in any of the dish and the pork was just thin slices of bacon that were mostly fat and over cooked . Typically this is my go-to, so Im not sure what happened this order. Oshis thankfully were good as always and we always appreciate the packaging.

Delicious tho the Ramen wasnt very spicy

Tonkotsu Black Ramen and Ikusa Bun (2 pc) were amazing. Will be ordering again.
