Joey's Restaurants - Calgary

Wow! Went in for $2 Tuesday at Urban to find its rebranded as StrEats! What a great change.

I love this place! The vicious fish tacos are my favorite, always filling, and the staff are very friendly and efficient. A very clean restaurant as well!

Each of us ordered a different plate and all four were delicious. The fish and chips were done just right, with crispy batter, big portions and with very good fries. The tacos were tasty and filling and the orders with combination fish were also very good. The restaurant was very busy but the service was good and staff were friendly. On this occasion though, it took a little longer to get our food but well worth the wait!

Didn't stay, as we had a film to watch at home, but the restaurant looked quite good from what we could see.We decided to take out some seafood, simply because we wanted to try a good piece of fish and chips and boy did we get it. The Halibut was super fresh and tasty and the fries are special.Service as we ordered and waited was superb and friendly and its too bad we didn't head back before moving back to Toronto; Joey's Seafood is awesome!
