Loco Lou's - Calgary

I read the other reviews and had originally decided not to go. But, it was closer to the jubilee thank the other place we were going so we gave it a shot. It took over an hour to get 2 appetizers and a salad. The lady who I imagine was a manager realized both of us in my party were looking around for our waitress. (It had been about 45 min since she delivered our water and took our order). the manager asked if she could help us and we let her know we had a max of 20 min left before we had to walk to see our show. She promptly checked for us and said we were being played right away. 15 min later the original server brought out our food. We asked for to go boxes and our bill rushed please. We are the fish taco while we waited. It was very flavourful and delicious. The avacadi was a nice touch. The manager came and said they would entirely cover our bill. It was totally unexpected and appreciated. The two of us are calamari while walking back to the jubilee. It was delicious! The next day I ate the Cobb salad for lunch. It was also delicious. So while the service was slow, the free meal was delicious...just not how we wanted when going out to see a show.

I was so excited to come try this place for the Tuesday taco special. Took over 10 mins for our waitress to ask what we would like to drink. I ordered a water and my husband ordered a pop. Well after waiting for another 10 mins we just walked out. Now something was odd to me. Our waitress was the waitress serving the other side of the establishment. The waitress that was serving our section didn't even acknowledge us. I don't understand why the one waitress wasn't our server. Seemed very odd and unorganized to me. I don't think I would ever go back. 15 mins to even get a water? Too bad they lost our on our money. Parking is terrible also.

Wings were incredible and cheap at thirty five cents a pop. Loved it and they had the flames game on all the tvs will come back

Was a beautiful evening for a motorcycle ride and dinner on a deck. They have a fantastic deck over looking 16th Avenue, can be a little noisy but was still a nice night to sit out on a deck and have dinner. We shared the BBQ chicken pizza, very delish, awesome pizza crust, not too thick yet not too thin! Our server suggested it and we're happy we tried it. Turned out to be a fantastic date night!

We went to this restraunt one evening after school for drinks and appys, at first everything was good until the waitress asked us to pay up since she was finishing her shift but when the waitress brought the bills she tacked on a few extra drinks to everyone's bills hoping we wouldn't notice and then when we politely confronted her about it we thought she would realize her mistake and correct it but she put up a big fight insisting we had to pay it until finally She made the changes and finished her shift but not before she told all the other waitresses that we were swearing at her and making a scene and not to serve is anymore. So we sat there for about a half hour waiting for the new waitress to take our drink order which she never did so finally we had enough and left. The worst service I've ever had, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone
