Los Mariachis Restaurant - Calgary

This restaurant is fantastic! We came all the way from Edmonton and discovered it through reviews online.

I enjoyed the Mexican food at this restaurant and found the lunch menu to be reasonably priced. However, I am unsure about the pricing of the dinner menu.

Great food and worth the wait. The service isn't speedy and there is no sense of being rushed through your meal. Appetizers were good and meal was amazing. Would definitely be worth a return visit.

This restaurant is one to make on your regular rounds in Calgary. The outside is very blah, but the inside is clean and has some nice Mexican decor. It is small but great atmosphere. The food is great, with lots of flavour and nice presentation. Really good sized portions too, so value for the money. We were there on a Saturday and they had a Spanish guitarist/vocalist playing with a great voice. That was a very nice touch. A good amount to choose from on the menu and we will for sure be back again and again. The service was good, however when we first came in there were few people seated and the food came hot and prompt. Soon after the place was full and it seemed that the staff was a bit slower in bringing our food to us and the main course could have been a bit hotter, although it tasted great. So 5 stars even considering that.
