Murdoch's Grill - Calgary

It's a pretty decent wing night to go on Thursday's and you can't beat .25 a wing. 5.00 burgers on Wednesday is a steal and have never had a bad time here. The servers are very friendly and one night there was too many servers on so our table played a game that every time we were asked if we wanted another round, we'd say yes.. We had 3 drinks each and were howling. Fun place to go for sure.

Great veggie burger!!! They use the Beyond Meat burger (Google it if you haven't heard of it). Might not be vegan friendly as is... They put an aioli on it that might have real mayo in it, and not sure if the bread is vegan. But the patty was really good!! Juicy and smoky! Not your typical veg patty made with a bunch of beans and rice pushed together. As an omnivore, it has my stamp of approval. $13 for the veggie burger and a side as of May 2018.<br/ <br/ They also have good mashed potatoes and nice, rich, dark gravy. Soup of the day (beef and vegetable) was awesome too.<br/ <br/ Service and atmosphere were good, too. Waitress was super friendly and we even chatted with the manager for a bit. Only complaint is the cups seemed dirty. They might have just been really scratched though.<br/ <br/ Apparently, they are under new management/ownership. The menu uploaded here is not the current menu. Veggie burger isn't even on it.

This place has okay nachos, could use a slight more cheese and better salsa.Aside from that, the service is good, there is a pool table, atmosphere is good.

In Response To Tom F's Review on May 4th. I would like to apologize for your experience. It is not now, nor has it ever been, our policy to charge customers for a less than satisfactory experience. We would never, “sell our culinary soul”, for any amount of money. For the feature burger you tried, that ran May 2-10th, a portion of the sale proceeds went to a local charity. We sold over 400 of the burgers, and raised more than $600 for the Autism Aspergers Friendship Society of Calgary. We value all our guests and their opinions. While we received very favourable reviews for the burger we, of course, are not above reproach. Love this place. Love the food. Good stuff on tap. Looks creepy on the outside so it took me a full year to go in (UPDATE YOUR SIGNAGE!!
