Original Joe's - Kensington - Calgary

Walking home from work on Tuesday following the long weekend and saw their happy hour sign.

SO happy when there is a vegetarian option besides pasta or salads.

This OJs location delivers every time I visit and they have one of the very best patio options in Kensington.

Went there to meet a friend for brunch. it was a lovely sunny day in Calgary so we opted to sit in the patio. Food was reasonably quick though the quality and taste did not stand out . The worst part about the brunch menu is that they only serve that on Saturday and Sundays ( come on, Friday is part of the weekend too) . As the patio is right on the street we hand to keep swatting away the cloud of flying dandelion seeds that seemed to be everywhere. Good place to catch up with friends .

We stopped for a snack and a drink before a movie. Waitress was excellent, attentive but not hovering, snacks and drinks delivered quickly. Food was good. It was a bit noisy but everyone having fun. Would definitely return.
