We visited a Sunday afternoon. we ordered half a pound brisket and half a pound pork ribs along with singles of cole Slav and bee baked. the portions were generous and the best part was the bbq. it was perfectly cooked and seasoned, no extra sauce required! about the beer, the stout and the black camp were delicious. we would not hesitate to go back!
Honestly I did expect more from this place, the beer on tap was kinda flat, the triple IPA was honestly not very good and the black lager just mediocre, the BBQ platter wasn't too bad but I definitely had better.
Wandered in here on a Thursday afternoon, the restaurant had private parking available. On Thursdays they have Pastrami brisket instead of regular brisket. Also, they have a Wed-Fri happy hour from 2-5pm.Naturally, I got a Pastrami brisket sandwich with a side of veggie bbq beans yay to no pork beans, as I don't eat pork but love BBQ beans), a small pastrami poutine $8 in happy hour). They also gave me a complimentary corn bread.THE FOOD WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD. The quality of ingredients is first class, and I still savor the taste of the Pastrami 12 hours later. My only regret is I'm from Los Angeles and I probably won't get to eat here again.
Our group of 6 had a great lunch at Paddy's. We enjoyed pulled chicken sandwiches and others in the group had the brisket, smoked chicken wings, and side Kale Salad. Being dry January for us, we didn't get to try the beer, but those in the group that did enjoyed it. Enjoyed a chat with the owner and his wife. It was a great experience we'll be back!
