Phil's Restaurants - Calgary

This was my first time at this restaurant, and I must say that my food was delicious! _The Pepsi was flat, otherwise I would've given 5 stars._I love that

This is really a family restaurant and has a good choice of menu items, but average food. I tried the veal cutlets.....I thought they were over cooked, sparse mushroom sauce, the veggies needed a little butter ( but make sure you ask the customer) and service was just Ok.

It's not gourmet high end food, but the breakfast is always good and reliable. Good portion sizes. Most importantly, we can take our savages here without worrying about disturbing others - there are other kids and it's noisy already, plus they can colour/draw (the restaurant provides crayon and sketches to colour).

The extra ingredients were more like a sald ontop of a plain omelet. Even after sending it back it looked like a mess. I won't be ordering that again. They should send the cook back to school on how to make a proper omelet.
