Seanachie Irish Pub - Calgary

Every time we visit Calgary we go to Seanachie Irish Pub. The staff treats my dear uncle like family and we always have great service. The food is great pub food and salads amazing

Good value on Steak sandwich night. Will go back another time but I don't think you should put a minimum on the review that you are requesting from a patron .

We've been to Seanachie before and not had a bad experience--so this was an unpleasant surprise and we will not be back long while. I ordered a steak sandwich- 5 oz. When it arrived, it was the thinnest piece of minute steak I'd ever received at a restaurant. I asked our waitress about it and she sent over the manager. I said, "I ordered this steak sandwich last week and it was much better than this." She said, "Ok -- do you want another one?" I said, "Is this the normal size -- it is very thin and small?" "That's how they come from our supplier -- do you want another one"? No acknowledgement of my concern. While waiting for the second steak, the manager came back over, turned to my husband and said that they discounted our bill. Hello--I was the one unhappy with my meal! The next steak they brought out was exactly the same as the first. The waitress did not care. The bill was discounted a few dollars but the lack of good service cost Seanachie's two customers.

We ended up here after a Saturday matinee at a nearby theatre. Couldn't get into a small restaurant in the same mall, but there was lots of space at this pub. It was warm and cheery, the beer was good, and they had a 1/2 price special bottle of wine that my wife and our guest enjoyed. The chicken pot pie was deemed very good. My serving of fish and chips was large and average. The noise level was fine- we could carry on a conversation without difficulty. Our server, Melissa was very pleasant and attentive. It certainly met our expectations for a"drop-in" pub meal.

Where can you beat .09 cent wings??? Mondays are wing night. Good size and large variety of sauces both dry & wet. Service was attentive. Wait staff was pretty much running all night. Been here other times not so impressed. I'd say average. Nice pub atomesphere.
