I love spicy eating and shef’s fiery kitchen disappointed not. my favorite is the lamb naanwich. fresh lamb in her tandoori grilled oven served with assorted vegetables in heated naan brot with a side of spicy salat. they also have other types of naanwiches....but they go with the lamb and ask for it medium rare! the spicy chicken salad is also one of my favorites. the homemade dressing is amazing. they also have a lot of other warm dresses that vary in the level of the seasoned and they can ask them to heat up the less spicy dishes (I would recommend to do this if as seasoned and go for the butterflies.) the kitchen is Thai and Indian, although the Indian dishes typically for African-Indian. I've tried everything and everything's great. if they like a dish, they sell the product to heat up home.
The Naan-wich ordered as we always do and it was okay. at previous visits, eating was much better, but today it was a swap. the Naan-Brot itself was very dry, hard and burned, not tightly wrapped as before. what disturbed us. most is the Asian girl behind the counter (working mar10 2pm,) which has long flowing hair. it was not tied back and she would touch it consistently to let it fly / toss back. I always thought a hair or two would land in my food while she prepared the wrecker!
The small plate of butter huhn with rice was a filling. large aromen and added sauces (mango and kokos) and chopped cilantro made it a perfect dish!
I tried to put butter huh at several places, but I think shef is the best. I work next door, so I tried everything on the farm' market (510 77 ave se) and I'm back again and again. Please note that this market is open only on Thursday to Sunday, from 9 to 5.
The whole atmosphere CFM is superb but no visit is complete without some lunch from Shef's Fiery Kitchen. The food is superb and extremely well cooked. The family also take the opportunity of stocking up to cook back home. Thai curry and buttered...chicken are amongst our favourites. Shame we live in the UK but you can guarantee that we will call again on our next visit to Alberta later this year.
