Swiss Chalet - Calgary

We had a fantastic experience! Our server, Amy, was outstanding and truly went above and beyond to meet all of our dining needs. Thank you, Amy! We will definitely be returning.

The service was outstanding, and the restaurant was clean. I ordered the quarter chicken along with a Sangria cocktail. The cocktail was a fantastic deal at just $5.49, although it didn't quite match the presentation in the advertisements since it was missing the cherry on top. Still, it was delicious! I highly recommend this place.

I'm giving Swiss Chalet a five-star review for two main reasons. First, the prices are unbeatable. The food is consistently delicious, and I enjoyed a quarter chicken dinner with ribs for under $20. Second, there's Carol. Sweet Carol has been a long-time employee, and we always ask for her by name. She is an absolute joy, and Swiss Chalet should definitely acknowledge her for her outstanding service each time! Carol, if you see this, thank you for being so amazing and for making our evening fantastic!

The restaurant was clean and well-organized. There was only one waitress working, so the service was a bit slow; she could have benefited from some assistance. The food arrived quickly and was up to the usual standard. I'm giving it 4 stars because it took a while to get refills and to receive our check. Really, it deserves a 4.5 out of 5.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. I suggest steering clear of coupons here, as the owner and staff do not permit their use more than once and will not issue refunds for future use. I’ve never faced this issue at other places; at establishments like A&W and McDonald's, you can use coupons multiple times. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning to this restaurant. The owner’s attitude was unprofessional, and I’ve never been treated like this as a customer before. It’s evident that not every business prioritizes its customers, and I believe my hard-earned money is better spent elsewhere.
