Thai Express Calgary

My friend and I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. We ordered noodles with chicken and beef, but they were completely tasteless and horrible. I cannot recommend this place.

I recently visited Thai Express for the first time and ordered the green curry. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize I needed to specify my spice preference, and when I got home, the dish was completely bland. To make matters worse, the takeout container wasn’t properly bagged, causing the curry sauce to spill all over the seat of my car. By the time I reached home, most of the sauce was gone, and the dish just didn't taste good without it. I strongly recommend they wrap takeout in a plastic bag to prevent this kind of mess. It was a really disappointing experience, and I felt like I wasted $14, leaving me to search for something else to eat in my fridge.

I just had the worst dining experience here. I spent $30 on Pad Thai for myself and my friends, and it ended up tasting like boiled noodles. I used to be a regular customer since I work in the mall, but this isn't the first time the food has been disappointing. I regret coming back today.

This review is for Thai Express located in the North Hill mall food court. I ordered a banana cake, but the cashier mistakenly charged me for fried bananas. Although the place wasn't busy, she appeared flustered. I pointed out the error, and she became quite flustered trying to adjust the bill. When I finally opened the bag, I discovered that the cake was frozen solid! The counter sign didn't mention that it was frozen, and at $6, it felt overpriced. I would have been better off opting for the fried bananas, which were cheaper and ready to eat right away.

This could very well be the worst Thai food I've ever encountered. It was bland and ridiculously overpriced for what it was—just low-quality food from a strip mall. I've given it two chances, but I'm definitely done.
