The Chopped Leaf - Calgary

**Food:** The menu is engaging and diverse, featuring bowls, wraps, salads, and sandwiches. There were so many excellent options that I had a hard time deciding! We both chose salads with chicken. Our salads were fresh, tasty, and served in generous portions. The chicken, which is often just an afterthought in salads, was grilled and full of flavor. I'm quite particular about my salads and often find that the ingredients aren't fresh enough, but that was not the case here. I told my husband that if there was a place like this near our home in California, I'd be a regular! It is so much better than the expensive options we have in our neighborhood. **Service:** We dined in and were pleasantly surprised to be served with real bowls and silverware. Given the prices, we expected a fast-food experience. The staff member who assisted us was very helpful, explaining the menu items and checking on us several times to ensure everything was perfect. I was already impressed with the service (and felt a bit embarrassed that I didn’t tip more when we were served). But the best part came later. Unfortunately, I left my purse in the restaurant, and I realized it only after I had boarded my flight home. I called the restaurant, and they confirmed they had found it. Since then, I've been coordinating with the store manager to have my purse shipped to me. It's been a bit complicated due to the international shipping and customs forms, but Matthew, the store manager, has been incredibly patient and helpful throughout the process. I even offered to cover the shipping costs, but he said it wasn't necessary. We need more businesses and restaurants like this! Calgarians, I’m envious! Please open a location in the San Francisco Bay Area!

The staff is extremely friendly. The menu, which focuses on salads, is diverse and excellent. The food is very tasty and offers great value.

Both the spicy chicken sandwich and the Buffalo chicken sandwich are outstanding! If you're in this neighborhood looking for a healthy option, this place is a great choice. They also offer infused water with various fruits for just $2, making it a refreshing low-calorie drink. I just noticed that you can purchase their water bottle for $25, which allows you to get free infused water on each visit—what a great deal!

With this visit we have now visited 22 different chopped leaf's in western Canada. The service was great, quick and cheerful. Our orders were prepared and served to our table quickly. The soup, Thai Curry, was tasty and hot which hit the spot on a day or was -35° C. My quesadilla was well prepared and tasty. My wife's Caesar salad was fresh and on point.

Closed at 7pm?! No other chopped leaf closes that early. Congratulations on being the laziest owner for chopped leaf in Calgary. They are extremely cheap with the amount of Protein you get...for example you barely get a quarter of a chicken breast. What a joke..don't bother giving these guys your business. Response to response: Im sorry you believe that its just my expectations. Your the one missing out on revenue from people who have dinner past 7pm. Good luck!
