The Hose & Hound - Calgary

Popped in for a couple quick pops before the market opened, was a cool little place for that. Didn't eat, but Happy Hour prices and good selection made it a great choice. Would definitely go back.

While attending the summer festival in Kensington this past August we stopped in to the Hose and Hound with some friends. It was a little busy so service was a little slow well within reason for how busy they were. We had some great food and beverages. Their Margaritas are quite tasty. If you are down in Kensington stop in and try and get a table on their patio.

I had a lunch meeting at here the other day, I really like the casual atmosphere, the heritage building and the service was fast and friendly. My Cobb Salad was generous excellent. The other fellow had the beef dip and he said it was excellent. I will definitely come back again.

Great atmosphere. Loved the staff. The drinks were quick to arrive and mixed perfectly. The staff shared some haunting stories with us. A very friendly and interesting place to visit.

Popped in on a beautiful afternoon. It's Stampede week so the place was hopping. This is an easy walk east down 9th Avenue from the Fort Calgary site - Deane House area if you are visiting town. It is the original Calgary Fire Hall
