Toad N Turtle - Calgary

After a fun evening with friends, we decided to stop by this restaurant for some pub food. The atmosphere and decor were very nice, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was comparable to other good pubs I have been to. They had a good variety of shareables, sandwiches, and burgers. The building and interior design made it easy to have a conversation, even though it was crowded during the Flames game. We will definitely be returning the next time we are in the area.

Anita greeted me at the door and was my server she's the best server here She's very friendly and accommodating. From my experience Just in general a Great group of servers and great attitude atmosphere, which is very important to me when spending hard earned money at a bar. Very clean inside. Almost all night clubs or bars have graphiti or dirty toilets and I'm sure the guys out there know exactly what I'm talking about. But not here. And prices are very fair. I ordered a steak sandwich on special which was Amazing! Best $15 I've ever spent. The $15 5 oz steak is only untill 2pm. (It was so chill I ended up hanging around) Then starts drinks basically anything. I got a gin n juice for $5 which starts at 3pm with the great environment music tvs friendly people I ended up staying even longer untill 6 and I called a friend over here so basically I got to benefit from the cheap lunch and the cheap drinks all in 1 day.⁴ Awesome place!! I promise you will not regret it.

The staff is attentive and friendly, the food is delicious, and the tap beer is great with icy cold glasses. Be sure to arrive early or book a table in advance as it gets busy. The atmosphere is fantastic. Highly recommended!

Great pub, with some of the best chicken wings I’ve tasted. Easily a 9.6 wing could eat them all day. Perfect balance and size. Wish had have been there on a Wednesday for wing day so could order 2 or 3lbs of these babies. Tacos were a letdown wings were a homerun burgers looked great also.

We always look forward to Wednesday for wing night at this restaurant. It's truly amazing. The wings are great and come in a lot of varieties that will make you feel like you're flying. They also have a fantastic beer collection. The best part is that the server is knowledgeable and can make great suggestions. I also work in the service industry and I must say that the serving staff here is amazing. Keep up the good work. Thanks, Gina.
