The happy veggie house of the Chinese district of street center offers an incredible multitude of typical vegetated Chinese dishes. You will not manage to decide before five to ten good minutes of reading the map! the fried rolls of taro (racine to taste and texture close to the potato, or even sweet potato) are very rich and full; The mixture of beef-carnate, chicken, noodles and vegetables was to be dropped. hot tea served at will helped to digest this good meal - very fat as I love vegan cuisine, but not to everyone's taste. It is not a refined, gastronomic, organic or healthy cuisine. and the restaurant, located in this small courtyard without charm in front of other neighboring restaurants, does not have the pretence to be the best place for lunch of the city. but it's a very good experience I recommend.
This small veggie restaurant inside the food-court of a Chinese building (you may call it a mall but there're not many shops) is one of the very few in the town of Calgary that offers Cantonese vegetarian dishes. There are assorted vegetarian items mainly made of tofu but tastes like beef and pork. The veggie hot-and-sour soup is fresh and nice, and the deep-fried taro roll is a must-try. Very reasonable prices.
